I'm Linus Fischer, an aspiring astronaut and aerospace engineer driven by a fascination with flight and
space exploration. My journey spans from building an RV-12iS aircraft in my garage to leading structural
design for a methalox rocket at UCI.
With hands-on manufacturing experience at SpaceX and Porsche, and research on carbon nanotubes, I’m committed
to shaping the next era of space-bound systems—both on the launch pad and beyond Earth’s orbit.
My resume.
Coursework in fluids, structures, propulsion, controls, and CFD. Ongoing research in lightweight composite materials for launch vehicles.
SolidWorks, Fusion 360, MATLAB, Python, ANSYS Fluent, Git, C++, Onshape, CNC machining, FDM 3D printing, TIG welding.
Outside of engineering, I enjoy aerobatic flight, photography, long-distance running, and designing minimalist web tools and portfolios.
