Recovery and Manufacturing


The ejection chamber was designed to safely and reliably separate the nosecone at apogee. I machined and assembled the chamber using aluminum tubing, shear pins, and 3D-printed end caps to contain the black powder charge. I conducted multiple ground tests to validate the seal integrity and optimize the charge size for consistent deployment. Each test helped refine the fit, wiring layout, and safety procedures to ensure repeatable, flight-ready performance.
